Other than the driver's side tail light being busted out, I can't see anything else wrong with the car. Only other thing I can think is that he has 97.1% feedback rating.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the car is also a non-turbo. I still think that is fairly cheap as it sold for $5,700. This car should qualify for historic tags and cheaper insurance.

Anyone else see something we didn't?

Who cares about slow? I like the fact that a NA motor has one less thing to break/replace. I too noticed the big yellow thing.

Theres a fella asking $13k for an 84 or 85? 300D sedan <50k miles. Supposedly in great shape. But am like you. Cant justify paying anything over $2500 for a 20+ year old car - and thats pushing it.

Does it count as acceleration when you are rolling back down the hill backwards?

I still find it shocking that $5700 bucks is considered cheap for a wagon like that. Maybe these huge piles of $ I Keep throwing at the "White Car" isn't a complete waste......

No clue what you are talking about... Off the line it beats pretty much anything japanese and half the size.... As I said my only complaint is 35-55 accel. I test drove an 82 SD the other day that had less pickup IMO.
