Looks really nice. If you're thinking of bidding high, it may be a good idea to ask the seller what head is on it. If it has a new one, then that would boost the value considerably.

Nice looking, but no good pictures of the rust areas. And please, someone take away the guys bottle of Armor-all. Still, the car might be bought at the right price. I'd really want to see it in person. I love my '86 SDL. Oh, and my #14 head has 243k miles on it.

Looks like a nice car from the pix,I personally am leary of any private auctons not disclosing the bidders idenity, there is no way to look at past auctions to see if the same bidder (schill) was used to run the auction price up.I am not implying that this is happening with this seller, just throws up a red flag to me.I agree if you know someone in the area that can look at it,or if you are really serious ,ask the seller if you can pay to have the local dealer check it over,if you are serious about the car it should be worth it,good luck.Johnny

Intake manifold is cleaner than adjoining crossover pipe.

Seat nets sag.

Grammatical errors all over description

What's it got in the way of records if it's a one-owner car?

From those photos, I can tell that it's an SDL and that the tires have about 1/2 their tread left. That's it.

I'd pay $2500. sight unseen.

These vehicles hide a lot of faults that will cost you a lot of money.

Take a look at my '86 in the gallery. It looks far better than this one........and it still had about $4K of necessary "deferred maintenance and repairs".

Personally, I wouldn't buy a used car from that part of the country, even though the seller claims 'no rust.' (He did manage to spell rust correctly, at least. ) If you're going to spend the kind of cash that the car is likely going to require to purchase, I'd try to find a California or southern car that has never seen salt. I visited my friend in Ohio last week and his '95 Accord is rusting at the wheel wells...and he moved there about 2 years ago! Just my .02; rust scares me!

Run the VIN to see options the car came with and when/where it entered the US.

http://www.mbclub.ru/mb/vin/?lng=eng

Looks pretty...but who posts photos that detract generally?

I say from expirience, that any eBay car you purchase should be bought at a cheap enough price that you feel OK about fixing the unexpected buggers that appear on your doorstep when the car arrives, cause there will be some.
