Since you seem to be deadset on replacing the modulator, this link describes the replacement and adjustment: http://articles.mbz.org/transmission/adjust/

Ok, so I'm not deadset on really doing anything, except making this car work correctly. I may have gotten myself sidetracked from what other issues there could be with the transmission. Little things like having enough fluid in the transmission to begin with. Suffice it to say that I didn't. I think I have rectified that situation, and I then drove the car around for probably 20 minutes. Yes I checked it warmed up, much to my horror the dip stick was almost dry. With fluid the car shifts a ton better, to say the least. I have not checked the modulator again. Why didn't I check this before? I may have mentioned this before I have never really worked on cars in the past, so certain things that should be common sense, like this, may have been overlooked.
