Front End Rebuild. Whats needed?

Took the car for a alignment today as the wear on the rear tire is so bad it makes the car wobble real bad at low speeds. Guy started pointing out all kinds of things so I'm at the point of just rebuilding the entire front end. Might as well do it right. What all is required parts and tools wise?

Well the front end you'll need (if youre going to redo the whole thing)
  • Tie Rod Assemblies (inner/outer/sleeves)
  • Upper Control Arms (W/Ball Joints)
  • Sway Bar End Bushings
  • Lower Ball Joints
  • Control Arm Bushings
  • Steering Stabilizer
  • Idler Arm Repair Kit
  • Strut Rod Bushings
  • Strud Rod Mounts
  • Shocks
  • Springs
  • Steering Box
  • Steering Coupler

I'm sure I'm leaving stuff out.....I've done everything except shocks and springs, mine are ok so far.
Most of this can be DIY. I did mine little by little by myself, with the exception of the Box, Coupler, Lower Ball Joints and Control arm bushings. You'll be amazed at how much tighter it is! I bought a used box, mine was clapped beyond adjustment, but do that last anyway.

I dream of a rebuilt box one day....

For the rear you would want to start with sub-frame bushings, transmission mounts and differential mount.

This looks like about the list I would like to do. The shocks and springs are perfectly serviceable.

If the back end still wobbles after all the stuff dannym said, you'll probably have to do the trailing arm bushings. Those are a royal PITA.

I need those right now, as well as rear Control Arm bushings and a new diff mount. Mine crabs in the rear when you let off the throttle.
