Coffee is nice and all, but use *bottles* in the car... here in AZ it's so hot that usually hot drinks aren't needed, even in winter. As for cold drinks, just screw the cap back on and place it on the floor- this is why the back seat floor of my SD is usually covered with iced green tea bottles...

Give me a cup & straw anyday. It's so awkward fumbling with a cap & bottle while trying to steer with my elbow or knee!
