Guide Rod Mount Kit for 82 300sd

I finally found the clunking sound, it's comming from the bushing at the end of the guide rod. Is it a simple bolt off and bolt on of the new bushing? Can I remove the bushing without taking the whole guide rod mount out?
Thanks for your help

Sorry.....

Not quite that simple. I assume you are talking about the rear of the guide mount at the bearing mount. This can be done without the coil spring compressor but I ended up having to use a come-along to pull things back into place. I found that the entire bearing bracket had to be lowered in order get the guide mount bushing out.

Be sure to measure things first, before disassembly, to be able to have things close to toe-in alignment.
