I don't remember some of the smells mentioned here.

However, a good friend of mine, who owns a used car dealership where they have to fight this sort of thing all the time, has found that the best absorbant of strange car smells is a few cut up apples. This is done after the car has been thoroughly cleaned though.

My daughter says my wifes 300SD smells like "pancake syrup and Pee"!!!

Smokers cars are the worst. I just can't buy one, even after a detail the smell drives me nuts. When the windsheild in the SDL was replaced the guy doing it smoked around the car. I had to leave the windows down for a few days and detail the interior to get rid of it, drives me nuts.
