Hot Shot A/C coolant

A semi-retired AC guy did some work on my AC last year on my 84 300sd. It was (presumabley) on R12. He put a 134a valve on the low port. He changed to a compatible oil and charged with what he described as a coolant that was compatable with both R12 and 134a and that I could top off with 134a as I needed it. It has a really slow leak and needs a can of 134a about every 2 and 1/2 months.

Last month AC was not working at all and last week I ultimatley found the prob to simply be a loose plug at the compressor. In the meantime I had done heaps of reading AC threads here. I was thinking he had used Duracool or Freeze12. I had the opportunity to ask him today and he said he used "Hot Shot" for the coolant and Sunoko 3GS for the lubricant.

I could not find anything about "Hot Shot" in a search. Does anyone know about it? Is it compatable with that lubricant? Im pretty sure he did not flush the whole system but just drained the oil and replaced it which he said would be fine. Anything I need to be concerned with?

It would be a good idea to flush the system, replace the dryer, have it evacuated, and replace the oil and freon, just to be safe.

well, sure. Most of my days are spent just trying to keep my head above water though.
Can anyone enlighten me on this stuff? "hot shot" is such a common marketing term that I cant even get any intel from a google search.
All I could find was this one page which seems to suggest that it is 414B and is used in airplanes. here is the link (670k download) http://www.stetsonaviation.com/HotShot1.pdf

I did a google search on "hot shot air conditioning" and got 3,530,000 hits:

It looks like some kind of blend to directly replace R-12. I don't know anything about it though,
