New Question for some of the pros

Ok so i have a 83 240d and i know u can modify the alda for a turbo unit but i dont have a turbo. still yet i have something that looks ike an alda on my injection pump. is it possible to get more fuel delivery for more power by modifing the device on top of the ip on an ap engine? if so whats the procedure to do so and what is the device actually called? if not hey it was a good thought:)

Thats the ALA not ALDA. Dont ask me the difference. Both are altitude adjusters.

so if they are both altitude adj can it still be adj for more fuel delivery and if so how? would it be the same for the alda?

The ADA on the naturally aspirated engines will sense the ambient pressure and close the rack if the pressure drops, thereby preventing overfueling.

The ALDA on turbo engines does the same thing, but, it also has the capability of accepting a pressure signal from the manifold and opening the rack in response to provide more fuel.

ok well heres the thought process in adding more fuel. i want to add a turbo running 6 psi of boost but i need to supply more fuel to make this work properly. is it possible then to add the alda unit from a five cylinder ip to a four cylinder ip??
