My odometer just quit today...

Hi all, for almost a year no problems at all with my speedo or odo or trip odo-meter, but all of a sudden today the odo's, both, just quit. Speedo works just fine but nada from either odo-type-meters...what is up with that...any ideas on where to start looking? I'll pop into the stickys tomorrow when I'm more awake....but please, not tonight. It's been a long hard day and I can't face the stickys tonight...no! No!! NO!!!

I don't understand what your trying to say here but he doesn't have a gear driven VDO he has an electric one. He can buy the gears at the website I provided earlier.

He can also do a search an find more than enough info on fixing his odometer.

Thanks DannyM and Winmutt, it's the electric odo and I was thinking maybe I threw a wire or something else common...no pun, but I'll be looking into the odometers.com. It went so fast so I'm still befuzzled...maybe something really simple/silly, if it is I'll re-post if only to look foolish :dizzy2: Thanks all!
