Stuff to replace under dashboard?

Most likely I will be putting in a "new" dash in my 300CD this weekend, what should I be replacing as a precautional maintenance now that I will have the dash all open?

"fix" the center dash vent by removing the damper door, pod and plugging the vac line to the pod. Just use the manual actuator to close off the air through them when you need to.

All vacuum elements.
The evaporator box drain tube.
All 2 and 3 way connectors to the AC system tubes
Check all plastic vacuum tubes for cracks and replace if necessary.
Light bulbs for all illumination.
Foam tube from center dash temp sensor to blower fan.
Check ignition switch for oil in the lines.
Clean and paint the instrument cluster and relamp.
Check AC check valves.
Check all grounds.

Where do I locate the evaporator box drain tube, I have no idea what it is or how it looks like. I could not find anything about it when I did a Search.
Tnx

The drain tube sits under the HVAC box right in the middle front (towards the front of the car). You should be able to see it with the lower knee panels removed. It is nothing more then a small (persnaps 2 inch) tube that goes straight down.

For a drain I actually used a garbage disposal to sink drain rubber tube. cut it to length and it worked great. Much heavier than the foam tube Mercedes sells you.
