Should a transmission mount do this?
I can reach up from under the car, and move my tranny up anbd down. I would imagine that SOME play is acceptable, considering it is a hollow mount, but how much? Thnaks!

Mine doesn't move much... the mount has maybe 10000 miles on it.

I'm thinking mine is bad, because it seems very sloppy. I might replace nexzt weekend.

I would if it moves as much as you say. 25 year old rubber is trash. Consider the motor mounts also if you haven't done them yet...
BTW - Nice avatar

Did motor mounts and shocks last weekend. Guess I should plan on moving from front to back, considering my center support for my driveshaft has seemed to have taken a ***** on me, too.
