Manual Sunroof Issue
Since early this summer ive been having reall problems with my manual sunroof on my 83 240D Euro. THe arm that comes out that is suppose to allow you to lock the sunroof in any position you want (suppose to keep it from moving when open) broke off and i cant get it out of the sunroof, what this is causing is it will not open all the way. if i put my finger in and slide the broken piece in the sunroof i can get it to open all the way, closing it i have to do the same thing, but only if the piece didnt slide in a wierd was were i then have to get the the long flat head to get it to were my fingurs can reach it. Question is, has anyone had this problem?? were the stop lever broke off, but is still stuck in the sunroof? and is there anyway to get the cover off the sunroof from the inside without mangaling or breaking the cover???
thanks MATT
