odometer broken

Hi. I'm looking at a car with a broken odometer. The speedo works but neither the odometer or the trip odometer move.

Any ideas on where the problem might lie? I'm thinking in the guage itself since the speedo works.

do a search for odometer repair-or go to diesel giant and look at his diy

There's a dude in LA that does them for $89 bucks. turns it around in a day.
