124 Lock Question

Last week i dove in to the lock problem on my car and have a couple of question. With the doors unlocked, what voltage should be on the two pins of the power cable? With the doors locked, what should the voltage change to? I think the problem occured when water somehow filled the "bay" where the pump sits. Which leads to my second question. Are there body drains on a 124? If so, where are they? If not, where in the world did the water come from that filled the void under my rear seat?

The power cable has 3 pins, the brown wire (3) is the negative (ground), the red/white wire (2) is the 12V, pin (1) blue wire goes to the pump with ground or 12V depending if you open or close the door!
With the door open you have 12V coming from the red/white wire and going to the blue wire (pump),with the door closed you have the ground coming from the brown wire and going to the blue wire (pump)!
