Remote start switch wiring?

I've got the cheapo switch to use, but I'm not sure where to clamp the wire. Any help? Thanks,
Isaiah

Can you be more specific about what you're trying to accomplish? Remote start to use while adjusting valves? Remote start to preheat the cabin in winter?

Seems to me its one clip on the small screw/wire on the the solenoid and the other to the big termanel (big red wire from battery).

Yeah run a wire from positive battery terminal to large connection on the starter motor, nothing could be simpler. Then add your button switch anywhere you want along this wire.

If your doing an alarm system install, and you want the remote start feature to work... it probably will not start very well without the glow plug system <- assuming its a diesel.
