Anybody need a new style vac pump?
I purchased a used, new style vac pump for a 603 from another member here, but then found a great deal on a brand new one. So I no longer need the used one, and will sell it to anybody interested for what I paid for it ($175). This is the Pierburg one with the 4 hex screws, and comes with a 3 month warrantee. If you have the old style and want to upgrade without paying $350, here is your chance. Message me if interested.

Good luck finding one for less than $300. I kind of got really lucky, and found someone willing to go out of their way to get me a new one for a decent deal. It wasn't easy finding a used one either, the junkyards don't want to take the vacuum pump off a whole engine. If you still have an old style pump, you really should get rid of it, it's not worth killing an engine over, even if you pay $350 for a brand new one, definitely worth the peace of mind. This used one that I need to sell is the same version as the brand new pumps, so it won't fall apart and throw metal into your timing chain like the old style one eventually will

They're difficult to find used, one of the motors I bought had that and an upgraded head.
