BJs
i never had a problem with an oil change at a chain place because i do all my own changes, but i did get a directional tire put on backwards (reversed, whatever) at a BJs and found out about it from my mechanic...good eye!

Yes. In a marina you have those oil suckers that can suck a golf ball thru a garden hose. I tried one of those portable things once. However had inserted the tube too far and it somehow broke inside the pan. I had to take the sensor out and try fish it out.

I've found Wal-Mart to be a great place for tires, but there's a trick to it: Order what you want on-line and pre-pay at least a month before you plan to go in. Then, just bring your set of wheels once they send the email or call letting you know the tires are in. The reason it takes so long is they typically only stock cheapies. So, drop your loose wheels off in the AM and when you go back to pick them up later that afternoon the fun starts. Each time I've done this they completely screw up the bill and end up giving me a full set of premium tires for the cost of whatever the on-hand cheapie is in the same size, and they typically omit some fees like disposal or mounting. On average I save at least $100 and score a decent set of tires with warranty I can get honored anywhere.
