replaced dash, why is it THE LAST (*&&()& BOLT thats always the (P*&)&) problem?!?!?

Got my dash in this weekend finished bolting center console in last night and had it all buttoned up except for instrument panel.... The last connection, the oil sensor line, was real stiff going it. Started car, leaked oil. GAH!#!$#%!@#$%!@$%!#$%

Why is the last bolt in any project thats the hardest???? The one that always gets stuck???

DAMN YOU MURHPY!!!!!

Hope you have not cross threaded it. You may want to have a look at the threads when you take it back off. Something usually pops up one way or another on a lot of jobs. Can almost always be worse in most cases as well.

It has to do with the amount of dark matter in the universe. I have experienced the same thing many times.

My daddy always told me...

always put all the bolts in, before you tighten any of them.
He was an aircraft mechanic. this is how he was taught. it keeps the bolts from preventing something from lining up.
