I have seen that commercial twice! I spotted it and was like "W123!!!!!!!" and everyone around me thought I was insane. They just don't understand.

I do it when I am going down the freeway, I will spot old MB's on the opposing side even if I am not actually looking, they just catch my eye.

there's another TV commercial that has an MB123 in it. if i remember it right, it is a commercial of a birth control pill? the scene was, the guy opened the door for the chick on an mb 123 sedan.

that made me laugh out loud for some odd reason, but i remember that commercial. They were leaning on the car and the guy comes out with the egg beaters for hands wanting to make smoothies or something.

Has anyone seen the ad against downloading music? The point of it is that stealing is wrong basically, but the main guy in the ad tries to steal a W123 in the beginning. Its on a lot of rental DVD's now.

its called product placement.. and involuntary product placement.. notice in the levis commercial we do not see a MBZ emblem or logo, but we know its a W123..

You still stole my music. Let's take it to school. You work hard on a big test and know you will get a 100%. I copy it. I stole just your hard work. The teacher would punish me for cheating. Would the teacher be wrong? You still have your test.

I pay $20 for a CD. You copy it. You just stole somebodys intellectual property. I still have the copy that I paid for, but you didn't pay them for yours. Until you send them the $20, you just stole their property because you do not have the right to keep it.

Like I said, I don't care that it's illegal. I still do it. They have million$, they don't need more money. Bands that keep up with the times are posting some of their music on the internet. If people like it, most will go out and buy the album.

Spotted another W123 in a TV commercial.

It was for Orbit Crystal Mint. It's the one where some bank robbers get into their BMW and the ink-bomb turns them blue. It crosses the screen in the first second. I tried to find a video, but no luck.

And, as I recall, the BMW won't start!
