116 water leak found!

Using the garden hose (I'm sure the neighbors filmed this) I found the water leak/source of water on the let rear floor in the 79 300 SD ... dirver's side hood hinge area.
Now the question is how to fix this!!@!%$! Rain predicted tomorrow ... one fantasy garage cleaning for the best post.

Clean the area, make sure it drains well, then let it dry completely and patch up any rust holes with something like POR15. I would also take out the battery and inspect the area for any rust holes.

The 116 has the battery up front, though its still a good idea to por 15 the tray.
