A question( or two).

Hi everyone.

I have a question concerning the coolant drain
bolt on the block.
And the location of the block heater hole.

In this picture is the bolt in the yellow cube
the coolant drain bolt?

Is the plug in the pink cube the block heater
hole?

Thanks to all for you knowledge.

Louis.

Drain plug is correct. Not positive about the block heater but it looks reasonable.

Thank you, oh gurus of the 617.

This will make it a little easier when I
replace my block heater( mine is shot)
And since I will need to refill the coolant
anyway I might as well do a coolant system
flush too.

Thanks again.

Louis.

I wished that I knew how to write German.

I would ask him how many hours he spend on
his car.
Also how much it costed him to finish that project.

I really like this picture.
Seems fitting.

.

Well I need to but it does seem to be hidden
very well.
And the turbo seems to be nicely in the way.
I have some time to try to get to it before it
starts getting cold up here.
I have the option of using a heater in the lower
radiator hose if need be.

Louis.
