Very Nice 1992 MB 300SD for sale on ebay.

I hope this is the right forum for posting this car. I was looking at this dealer's site and saw this beautiful Diesel. I am very tempted, but the 603- type motor...I'm still looking for that V12.
Maybe someone else would be interested in this car.

the W140 chassis is one of my favorite of the s-class but im scared of the diesel engine bending a rod.

Looks really nice but I thought early W140s came with analog odometers. If that speedo was replaced, those might be more miles than represented unless records substantiate the change.

If it bends a rod, drop in a 603.96 block.

I've seen some early 140s with the analog odometer and some with the digital. No one (so far) has been able to tell me which years / models had which odometers.

Not enough motor to haul around all that W140 weight.
