Theres a hot girl at my school who drives a newer benz (the only other benz at the school), not a diesel, but we kinda race a little every day after school that we run into eachother. I tend to be the one who passes everyone and weaves in and out in my old 81 300SD, and she never wants me to pass her, but I always end up passing her anyway, lol. I can never find her at school or in the lot so we've nver talked.

All the girls at my school drive new MB's, BMW's and other very recent luxury models.

Haven't yet seen one in a CDI or an old oil burner, but when I do......

Jeesh, Seems like someone would not be sleeping next to me if they did not like my baby!...............

I am betting these are the same types of girls that can't get their hands dirty or god forbid they break a nail........:fork_off:

Well I am happy I have found my home in the car world, although I must say there are still few other makes/models I will add to my stable(57-64 Bug 67 BUS 90-93 RX-7) but as far as my daily driver and passion now will be is with these older MB Diesel's~~~~~What fine craftsmanship.....
and out off all the cars that I have ever worked on, the more I do the more I am impressed. Soooooo much easier, so well thought out!
I seriously am in LOVE,

As far as other woman liking them that just leaves a few more on the road for this girl~~~~~~~~

I am more excited about the jumpsuit than the woman.

Hmmmmm......guess I've been married too long.

If you do decide to make some extra suits for members, do keep me in mind!

Cheers,

Bill

Ha, my thoughts are along the same lines. I don't resent the fact that other women don't care for diesel ... I'm glad they don't steal my thunder. OK .... I don't really have any thunder. But if I did, I wouldn't want other women stealing it.

Funny thing is, I know plenty of guys who are sent afluster by the whole diesel thing. Even self-acclaimed "car guys" seem pretty clueless as to what diesels are capable of or the fact that they even exist in the capacity we use them in. I meet a lot of guys who are all "oh yeah, I'm really into cars," but all they really mean by that is they can tell you how much horsepower every different model of muscle car has or what kind of tricked-out options they'd like to put on their domestic vehicle. But they don't know jack about "utilitarian" stuff, like what makes a car work, what taking care of one entails, what differentiates one fuel type from another, etc. Often I meet a guy who claims to be a car-guy and I think "cool, maybe I can learn from him" (since I'm not exactly an automotive genius at this point) ... about 90 percent of the time it turns out I know more than he does when it comes to the actually mechanics of it.

BTW, I come from a long line of DIESEL CHICKS. Grandmother: W123 diesel Benz (when she passed, my dad sold it for $1,000 to a fellow who desperately needed financial help); Mom: 1987 GMC Suburban diesel; Sister: 2002 VW Jetta TDI; me: 1987 300D + 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD. When you add to that the fact that my dad is a dieseler (75 240d, my 87 300d before he gave it to me, 1983 diesel Chevy Suburban, couple of big rigs, now 2005 Liberty CRD that matches mine), diesel is simply in my blood. No seriously, after a few nicks and scratches while trying to work on my car, I think it's in my blood, literally.
