I've been futzing with everything electrical in the SD trying to find the electrical drain. I must have not put something back properly because the EDS or whatever controls idle and tach were out of the loop today. First thing I noticed was no cold air from the AC (in a W140

), next was no tach (whew, probably not the evaporator then), last was low idle speed. I still have to figure out what I flubbed but the darn thing got me through the day. Lots of electronic garbage in a W140 to turn your hair gray but it won't leave you stranded anymore than a W123 will. It would have been slow going if I hadn't clumsily hooked up the wastegate actuator to a vacuum source
BTW, the electrical draw seems to be in the conveninece module circuit (did I mention this is a W140?). Still poring through the archives to figure it out.
