Vacuum "T" locations for testing

Hi, I have a few questions. I have an 82 300 SD and want to install a few test "t's" for the vacuum system. what are the best locations, what are members using for "t's"? I sa a thread where a memeber advised another to t"t" the line running from vaccum pump to brake booster. Wondering if the line was just cut and then a t installed with hose clamps? Brass or plastic t's? Sizes? All and any advice appreciated, thanks!

James

You can pick up all kinds of neat vacuum fittings at your local Advance Auto or Autozone. Just insert it where the existing pieces can be pulled apart at. I usually run the test hose through the drain tube behind the front tire and then through the window.
