Is the price of Diesel dropping in your area?

In the Atlanta area in the last weeks the price of deisel has dropped from $2.98 to $2.48. That includes an extra 3 cents off for having a grocery chain card. Several other stations in the $2.50+ range. Good trend!!!

what grocery chain card?

we've got Giant Eagle with their GetGo but they don't offer diesel...and my present 1.52 off the price of fuel (limited to 30g) would be very nice for the 300SD but I can only use it on the 190E and hopefully snag the remaining x gallons that the car didnt take into some 5g tanks...

Lets not get into a political debate...

Diesel has dropped to $2.79 at the chevron station. Premium gas is $2.89 and regular gas is at $2.49.

$3.09 up the street from me, down 20 cents from a week and a half ago, so I'm happy enough. The paper said it should be dropping more here in the coming weeks.

Edit: Just check sanjosegasprices.com and two miles from me it is selling at $2.89, that is 40 cents down in two weeks at that location

Yeah, don't talk politics here. You wouldn't want to actually try and change anything. Just keep your blinders on and nobody gets hurt

Locally, Yes...near the Interstate, No

Folks,

I went out to the "Big City" of Clarksburg on Friday 9/15/06, the price if Diesel was 2.95-2.99 (Regular Gasoline 2.45 or so)......the station that I use on Old Rt 50 (30 miles from any Interstate) Diesel was 2.55.....same day on my way home......

The smaller stations and grocery stores (li'l mom & pop operations) still have their prices around 2.85.......I know for a fact that these folks charge according to what they paid for their last load of Gas or Diesel.....because I have asked.......and I go out of my way to buy from them if it isn't too far out of my way......

SB
