I have a 1978 300d with 236,000 miles on the clock. I have no 2-3 shift....i have checked the linkage...dropped the fluid and filter which where very clean...no particles in the pan whatsoever....I have 1-2 shift...i was wondering if the governer is bad or do i have to rebuild the tranny....any help is greatly appreiciated as this is my wifes car and she doesn't want to part with it and until it's fixed my life will be a living hell....thanks..
