Station near my home was first to get ULSD. I kept filling up there even though I noticed there were less and less diesels stopping in.
Last time I fueled there I caught some of the fuel on my finger as I pulled the hose out of the tank.
Reddish brown in color, dirty looking. Found another station.

The long term effects of this are going to be good. The underground tanks will be clean and possibly stations will install filtering systems on their tanks.

Put some of the station's fuel in a clear bottle and ask them why they are not filtering their fuel. The hard part is finding the right person to ask.
