617 Fuel Leak

Howdy..

A short while ago, I noticed that fuel was accumulating on top of the spin-on fuel filter. I assumed that the culprit was a leaking cigar hose.

R&R'd the cigar hose and am still finding fuel accumlating on top of the filter. Any ideas?

Try new copper washers under the banjo bolt on top of the filter. How old is your injector return line?

Will do. You know, I was just looking at those. They appear ok, no leaks. But, I'm sure replacing them won't hurt. For all I know, they are 10 years old.

The aluminum washer under the hollow bolt that holds the fuel filter on can leak also.
