As I remember I just ran the "hot" wire through the light so when the button is pushed the light comes on. I used the push button without the solenoid on the loop style plugs (50 amps) but with the newer style the solenoid is needed (80 amps)

Not thru the light, to the light. Thru the light means the current for the GP goes thru the light which is impossible. New2MB, And how do you know its (GP relay) about to break? What about all the other parts in the car that are about to break? U must have a good crystal ball. P E H |
