Thumbs up Coil spring pads?

Have some new coils here to install on the SD... which pads should I use?

8 or 13mm for the front?

9.5, 14, or 19mm for the rear?

Well, I'd certainly use the thinnest pad available for the front. It sits too high even with this pad.

For the rear, I'm curious as to the stock pad. I believe it to be 14mm because the SDL, considerably heavier, uses the 19mm pad. If so, then the 19mm pad will be too tall for the SD.

Please post, definitively, on the stock pad on the SD. I'm curious to confirm that it's 14mm.

When we replaced the rear springs on the '83 SD we used the 14mm pads from the dealer, they said those are the standard ones...they even had them in stock!!

Thumbs up

My SD sits level, the L has the typical rear sag. Oh well, with SLS it'll never have that again.

Thumbs up

Hey now SLS on an '87 will be killer. I already have the donor 560 lined up.

The 380 has SLS too
