"There is something in the back of it that has a bulb in it and 5 wires coming out of it that go to the antenna, defrost, sunroof, rear light, switches, one of the arms of this octopus looking thing, (the one on the bottom right hand side, has no wire coming out of it) what is that thing?"

That is the fiber optic "octopus" ie.....the bulb in the center lights several things with fiber optic cables. Actually, I think it's a great idea and wish there was a little more of it on my car. It would have been better to make the bulb a little more accessible.

"The Automatic Climate Control is not working, the blower air, and auto heat worked and now… nothing… "

F10 goes to connector 2 pin 12 (Br/Rd) is power for everything in the CCU. F11 is for the temp controller and blower. Have you tried to jumper 12v to the blower motor from the battery just to see if it turns?

Another possibility is that the radio "installers" may have left something disconnected, such as one of the ACC controller connectors. Has the system been dead since the install?

if your looking for the fuse panel, its under the hood on the drivers side right next to the brake system. its under a cover.

Head lights!

Gentlemen, thank you for your suggestions on the heat problem. It turned out to be the solder in the ACC unit! Alas now I have heat and no headlights! The lights work on HIGH beam only. On low beam the left side one works only. AND the yellow fog lights stopped working when the right regular went out. I was testing the lights in traffic, catching them reflect from the car in front of me when I noticed that the yellow lights and the right beam went out. I replaced the right beam and the problem persists, no fog lights and no right beam. The both work on high beam but the fog lights fail to light. Like I said, I replaced it, nothing, I checked the fuses, they are all fine… any ideas? Thank you, for your advise!

Check for power at the head light socket. I got pulled over for a "burned out tail light." The left side tail and front parking lights were out. I had a bad fuse contact in the fuse panel, and cleaned the contacts, installed new fuses, and all lights worked again.
