Glow Plug Quickie Story

1991 350 SDL ... driving great with no outstanding issues ... stopped for 30 minutes.

On restart glow plug light did not illuminate - started fine anyway (warm ambient and still warm engine). Glow plug light stayed on and then extinguished after about 1 minute.

Drove home, pulled relay connectors. Everything looks fine. Restarted engine with relay disconnected - both cables (large cable with six wires goes to six pin connector and smaller cable with five pins to smaller connector).

While running connected larger (power to glow plugs) - no change - light still out. Connected five pin connector, engine takes some load, but light stayed out.

During restart everything worked normally with GP on for a few seconds and then light extinguishing ...

Did I just exercise the relay enough to unstick it?
