one is electronic the other is vacuum. i beleive the electic was on all turbos and no NA.

I believe the electric cruise control servo was first used on the W123 body in 1982. It was to be an improvement over the vacuum actuator, though it seems like they have just as much trouble. The amplifier is also totally different than on the vacuum system.
