CoPartFinder - any comments?

Has anyone used this outfit, a national chain that lists cas at auction an parts cars from participating places?
I searched for 1987 300 model (they didn't differentiate betwwen 300E and 300D models) and found several 300D turbos and SDL's. None close however.

Corp Hdqtrs is in Fairfield (I tiled it for them), they bought my 99 BMW 528i sans motor, 6 of 8 air bags and both front tire/strut/a-arm assemblies after it went 300' down a mountainside. Rolled 3 times side to side and 3 more times nose to tail. Figure I did about $200K damage to a $50K car, if it was any example of their "typical" parts car I'd be leery.

Were you in said car? Or just your ex wife? :laugh2:

I rode it out. Glad it stopped where it did (impaled on a rock pile, wheels down) cause was another 500' down to the bottom.

Shook cobwebs off, climbed out window and hoofed it back up to road. Got a helicopter ride into town but was released from Trauma Center after 20 minutes.

Is why I will only drive german cars.
