$250-350 is pretty normal for a brand-new unit. Search fastlane above for examples.

wow

the one for my 83 300SD is only about 150. Does anyone know the difference? Is it possible to swap out the glow plug wiring with that of an 81 or newer and use the cheaper relay?

The W116 used a different (older) style realy, so i dont think they are swappable without some re-wiring.

I found the realy on *************** for $259 or $299 depending on your model. I work for the supplier of *************** i can get you the relay for about half the cost, i can have it shipped to anywere in the US for $12 with USPS if youd like.

PM me.
