in my '80 300SD i get 25 - 29 mpg, we live at 1400 and go up to 4500 often, nearly all mountain driving. I usually go 300, 320 miles between fuel, my sender broke so i don't like going further than that. I just replaced my leaking return lines on the injectors, maybe the milage will go up-

If I fill the tank all the way to where I can see it in the filler neck I can go approx 540 miles. And that is almost all mountain driving on the interstate. GrandJunction to Denver and back.
