But yes, 3 digit code followed by a letter is the paint code and the first letter of the paint manufacturer. G = Glasurit.

This is for a 126, but a 123 is similar.

I tried the W126 site...that is how I got my rough translation. The ruskie site only works for 1980 + vehicles so no dice there. I am trying to order some touch up paint from paintscratch.com but the sample for "922-pastel blue" is not even close.
