Looking for a diesel, part two
Wondering if some diesel doctors can dissect this one for me...
http://stlouis.craigslist.org/car/217217129.html I will probably go look at it tomorrow. It looks like it needs new paint, and some rust spots fixed, but having under 200k miles is a plus. I would probably put about 3000 dollars in it fixing it up, which would include a paint job, rust work and various mechanical work as well. It does say the maintenance book is included too, and if it is up to date, that is a bonus. The dash and seats (leather) are probably trashed from being in the sun, not a big deal for me. Parts are probably very expensive for this car, and beware of cheap mercedes, etc... Do you think this a good car and a good deal for it? |

26 years old? He doesn't add well, so tell him you'll offer him $200 bucks less than he is asking: $1500. bucks.....

To me price would depend on service records and condition of AC system. if those are good then I'd pay his asking price.
I expect the front end needs work which is $1500 right there. Who knows what else. Sixto 93 300SD |
