Regarding the CrapOlac Northstar engine: I remember when it was first introduced, with great fanfare in the press.

I saw a cut-away at the auto show, saw the single row timing chain, and walked away shaking my head. My first thought was, didn’t GM engineers hear about the MBZ bean-counters that were taken out back and shot over their decision to put single row timing chains on the 380 engines? Of course, MB went right back to the double chains on the rest of the 117 engines, but…

i have a friend who has a pretty new caddy. its engine has major problems. i think it is the third northstar equipped car that has had major engine problems.

his loyalty is seriously misplaced.

D*mn the Datsuns, full speed ahead!!
I love the feel of a Citroen D, all the sofa-float of a Caddy with none of the wallow. If you think a TD's SLS is weird, just fool with one of those for a while!
