Intake/Exhaust Manifolds
Will the intake and exhaust manifolds from a 220 diesel fit a 240 diesel? I am thinking of converting my 240 to a turbo'd version upon overhaul by replacing the pistons, rods and injectors with those from a 300 turbo and rebuilding the injection pump (or rather having it done). If the manifolds form a 330 will fit I will by the turbo setup from that engine rather than making then myself.

You will need more than the pistons and rods....
Sodium filled exhaust valves, nitride hardened crankshaft, and under piston oil squirter's. |

Yeah, I know, those also. I can fabricate manuifolds, but would rather bolt them on if I can find some that will fit.

I don't see why they won't fit. I believe only the cylinder bore was changed between a 220 and 240.
