I have been hearing a noise in the left rear of my 85 300D Turbodiesel. I notice the noise happens when I ride over rough rode but not when cornering. I have replaced the muffler's rubber suspension rings and mounts attached to the body to cushion the top of the muffler. The noise seems to be coming from the plastic attachments that connect to the end of the stabilizer bar and rear wheel. I have sprayed a lubricant and swiveled the attachments, as they are attached with ball and joints, but the noise persists. Any suggestions?

Brian,
The link between the stabilizer bar and rear wheel is called the sway bar link. They will make a noise when you hit a bump. They do wear, but are easily replaced and inexpensive. About $8/each.
