did ******** az send me the wrong window regulator??
Hey, I am replacing my rear passenger side (right) window regulator... I ordered a new one from ******** az and it says on the packing slip it is indeed the one for the right side rear.
Well, upon taking my door panel off and trying to remove the old regulator I noticed it was different than the new one.... the main thing I noticed is that the bar that jets out of the regulator on the new one sticks out as seen in the attached photo, while on my old one is sticks out on the opposite side, specifically near the metal on the right that looks like a finger. So is this the wrong regulator or am I doing something wrong here? Thanks, David

Can't you turn it around? Is the stop bushing on the same side? Usually those are packed and shipped to the most compact size. And if it's installed, the tension created helps support the glass. Turn it around and see if it matches with yours. I had to turn the levers on both front regulators on the wagon when I installed new ones. Tricky at first, but they're working perfectly now.

That worked, now I feel like an idiot, haha.
Ummm, so now I got the old one out, and I want to put the new one in... but... I can't figure out how to connect the regulator to the new "modification rail" using the "bushing/repair; lifter slider repair kit" from ******** az. Any ideas anyone? Thanks, David EDIT... fixed... see http://www.benzworld.org/forums/showthread.php?p=2081853&posted=1#post2081853 for the answer.
