Miss just after start-up
After a night of sitting, plugged or unplugged, My SD misses 2 or three times before smoothing out....new GP's and good relay & Fuse...
Temps are around -10C here at night now.... |
Perfectly normal.
As it gets colder, you may need to apply a LITTLE throttle. |
Diesels don't like the cold, if it lights right off at -10C don't worry about it. Bring the rpm's up a bit till she clears up.

How long do you let it sit with the key in the #II position (glow position)?
Do you turn the key to the start position when the glow plug light extinguishes? |
what oil did you put in the engine?
