Anyone removed the factory stereo cassette player and replaced it with a cd player? Just wondering how difficult this is going to be do do. Anyone have any ideas?

If it's a Becker 1432 with the tuner in the trunk then you have to run an antenna wire to the dash and probably run new speaker wires to the speakers or to the amp connections in the trunk/back seat area.

It's a lot easier, and cheaper, to skip compact discs and go for MP3s. For both my cars, I use a cassette tape converter ($10) and plug the wire into an I-pod or generic MP3 player. Works great.
Forget CD boxes and in-car confusion. A two-gig unit holds 500 tunes and fits into the palm of your hand. A DC charger covers long trips. Want to hike with tunes? Take the unit with you.
