Drivers Seat Troubles...

I've got a problem with my drivers seat, the springs were broken, so I took it out and fixed it (or so I thought) and when I put it back in, I dropped one bolt who knows where, and now the seat won't move.
So I have no way to remove it to retrieve the bolt.
Any suggestions are welcome, and very much appreciated.
I don't know what to do, and now I wish I hadn't "fixed" the seat in the first place.
some kind of ram to force the seat to move? or is there some way to get the seat out without having to move it?

also: I've got mouse trouble, the little booger ran up under the dash one day, and i *almost* grabbed him by the tail and flung him at my neighbors car
but I couldn't grab him fast enough, and today he was walking in the back window, but once again, i couldn't get to him fast enough.
what should I do?
traps/poison, or what, poison might kill it up inside of somewhere and start to smell.
but traps might spread blood all over my interior.

Mouse problem...

Place a mouse TRAP (spring type) 'loaded' with peanut butter on a flat surface - say the front floor board or the rear shelf - and if you're thinking it might make a little mess just place it on a piece of cardboard or such. My experience with this type trap is no mess - but it's almost a guarantee to catch 'im they LOVE peanut butter!!!

BTW - that's a bummer about your seat bolt. That's a job I need to do - fix broken spring(s) in driver's seat. Good luck on both issues...

Thanks, I'm thinking they'd love pb, because all they've had th eat for the last few months is all the insulation/sound deadening found on the rear shelf (I removed
the carpet and set it on the back seat, only to find in a few days all the insulation had been removed and a mouse nest... scratch that, mouse mansion placed on my rear seat.)
I'll get a few traps next time I'm in town.

anyone have any suggestions on the seat, its slid quite a way back right now, which is fine for me (I'm 6ft 4in) but not so great for anyone in the back seat. 5-8in of legroom isn't much.

Moving Seat

The seat will "rack" without all four bolts in. I'm assuming you can get to the fronts or the backs; just not both. Whichever you can get to, loosen it slightly.

If the missing bolt is on the end you can reach, take a bolt off the passenger seat and get it started on the drivers seat.

You need to put pressure on one of the corners of the seat and push in toward the passenger side or pull out toward the door and see if you can shift the rails to straighten them out - This will help you start the 4th bolt or try to get the rails aligned so you can move them.

It might be good to enlist another set of hands or eyes to take a look at the rail alignment while you're trying to move the seat.

Thanks for the suggestions, we just went and had a look at it, and maybe i was wrong about the bolt jamming it.
we found the bolt, and its loose in the height adjuster track (shouldn't be jamming the front-back adjuster)

but it appears as though the seat frame (under the seat) has lost a bolt/screw that was holding it to the adjuster frame (bolts to the floor) it seems as if its twisting the whole setup, and the seat belt reinforcer thing is the one doing it, for some reason that is wrenching the whole seat up, so it won't slide.

I'm going th have to remove the seat belt reinforcer doohickey tomorrow afternoon and see if it helps.

Thanks for the help guys, without you I wouldn't have had another look to notice my own wrong diagnosis.
