Do you think the G300D is the ultimate SUV?

Think again!

Wow. If you want the only one ever, there you go. What to do with it? It's just a "tad" impractical.

OK. I am confused here and it may be that someone can help me out.

In one section the trans is listed as manual.

In another section it is a 6 speed trans with a torque converter.

Which is it? Auto or manual?

If they ever make an A-Team movie, that'd have to be the van.

I hope they don't. They give the US Special Forces a bad name. So many bullets flying out of guns and can't hit a single person.

They werent shooting at people. They were shooting at the front tires, just before the vehicle came near a 2' high bush/parked car/etc. They always hit that!

I see a clutch pedal in the pictures so I don't understand the torque convertor claim either. Clutch and torque convertor???

Some sort of "hybrid clutch"? Maybe the clutch pedal acutates a valve on the torque converter to relieve fluid pressure, its like a liquid clutch! In theory that could last a lot longer than a normal one.....

whats up with the engine sticking into the engine bay??? other than that it is really pretty.
torque converter and manual transmission is wierd. Also what is front rear hydraulics pto? I think I get what he's saying, but for the 32,000 buy it now you'd think we'd get a detailed description.

seems to me i remember that these things go at crawling speed at wide open throttle, ANYWHERE. fjording streams ? better bring a snorkel for yourself. . . . . they are awsome. a friend has an 50's model, 36 mph wide open, the radiator top tank is in the cab and keep you warm in the winter. hate to tell you how how it was in the summer. and no place to put your feet.
it will go places you don't even want to go, and bring you back.
all wheel drive lock ?
yup !
30,000 ? it would be a great toy !

Actually most unimogs can reach a top speed of about 90km/h or about 55-56 mph....so they're not all that slow...pretty good considering they can just about climb vertical grades and ford water over their roof! Unstoppable machines.

That thing looks out of place! Belongs in some third world country with 100 people riding on it!

Very cool though!
