Need a Trailing Arm Left 1981 300 TD
 

They want to sell you a trailing arm (about $500.00 plus) with the hub ($800.00)for about $1,500.00. Just need the trailing arm only, . Any ideas where I can get a used or new one??? TIA

sorry for the noob question, but is this a TD only part? Front or rear?
if rear, you may have a chore searching out the part at salvage yards. if front, any of the millions of 123 chassis vehicles should be a good donor.
if you can't find it and it is a TD only part, I may have it available for you, because I am parting out my 80 TD... too many vehicles. and I want one in great shape...

I do not know for certain if a 80 is the same as 81 300 TD trailing arm ???? I have no part# to compare?

You will need to find out of the wagon and sedan are the same. I would think they would be since they are 123 chassis, but I realise wagons have the hydro rear suspension. If you find they are the same then 77 to 85 will work. I bought one at a junk yard for $50 with the hub and they torched it off for me.

So you found out why the wheel was canted.....

I am interested in your trailing arm for my 1981 300 TD ....Am told a 80 TD will fit but need more info to confirm ... What is the asking price? Do you accept Visa? and how do I know this will be a trouble free business deal?

i have had some luck here....link if your gonna do this, look over the otherside close. and replace all the rubber.
