I need to replace my rear subframe bushings and am wondering if there is a total of 2 or 4. The kit in the link shows just 2. If it is 4 then I assume I need to order two of these kits.

I think there are 4 mounts/bushings in a w201/w124 rear subframe. If you are replacing only the rear-most set, you only need a pair. If you are replacing the forward and rear set, you need both pairs.

On the w126 there is 1 sub frame mount and 2 trailing arm bushings on each side. I believe the 123 is the same. So that is 2 subframe mounts and 4 trailing arm bushings to do the job.

OP had a link to a 91 300D...I assumed this meant w124.

If you have a 1991 300D as the link suggests, you would need 2 of 124 351 02 42 and 1 of 124 350 64 08 to do the job. you may as well replace the diff mount at the same time, part number 124 351 13 42.
